大矢野岛，位于北纬32°35′34″，东经130°25′59″，周围55.4公里，面积29.88平方公里，最高飞岳海拔228.8米，其次柴尾岳海拔225.9米，大矢野岳海拔124米。人口14,729人（2005年）。有桥与宇城市相连。
